For your incredibly generosity and on behalf of the Pride of the North Bands, I cannot thank you enough!
My name is Abby Aymond, and I am an Electrical Engineering and Pre-Med major from Grand Forks, ND. This is my second year in the Pride. I started making music by playing the piano when I was 5, and am still playing today; though now I play a few more instruments! During high school, I enjoyed playing in the Red River band and jazz band. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering focus and plan to go to medical school. I hope to practice emergency medicine or to design artificial organ systems and smart prosthetics.
During my time with the Pride I have made many great friends. The group has a wonderful family atmosphere which eased my adjustment to college life. I am shy around new people, especially in large groups, but being in the Pride has helped me meet new people and experience positive situations that I would otherwise miss. Also, as I typically take about 20 credits a semester, playing in the bands gives me a much needed study break and creative outlet. I truly thank you for providing the means for me and many other wonderful students the great opportunity to work in this fantastic group! Thank you once again for your support!
We play with the best; please help us look the part!
